Re-Envisioning Food Systems

This Humanities Lab invites students to explore how food sourcing can prioritize sustainability and human flourishing through hands-on experience at a local small-scale farm. Student teams will imagine ways to re-envision food systems; investigate the potential of desert ecosystems to support sustainable farming; and develop creative, small-scale interventions with large-scale implications. Students will document their process over the course of the semester and, together, create a case study of lessons learned for others to follow.
